I guess my main thought is, “ew. Extraction shooter.” But this does seem like something that could help.

yeah, but just like (it seems) absolutely everything else, all it will take is one or two people abusing that system to make it useless and end up being more harm than good unless the creator stays on top of it, and it sounds like they don’t want to do that.
Just like in the game, the real unpredictable element in this equation is the human factor. Some people just live to sabotage absolutely everything they come across.
