SCHUFA has a less dystopian future ahead of itself

So, apparently an intransparent algorithm based credit score is against the law in the EU. One of the better known (in Germany) institutions is called SCHUFA. From renting flats to getting a loan, SCHUFA and its algorithm will fuck you over and up until now you didn’t have any way to push back. They were collecting data from all sorts of places. Finally this has been ruled illegal by a European court.

Well, let’s hope that at least they weren’t as dumb as Equifax was here in the US and left the root password set to “changeme”, which led to the big breach back in, oh what was it, 2015? What a nightmare that was.
