I saw this one too, and I can’t agree more. This is especially insightful for me as my company has brought in an AI-booster CEO that has essentially forced the “AI first” mindset in our company and made us all take a stupid AI “bootcamp” that’s basically about treating genAI as a “teammate” instead of a “tool”. Part of that bootcamp was talking to ChatGPT as if it were a therapist and trying to get ideas and help from it.
It was sickening, and the ignorance over the capabilities of what passes for “AI” these days was alarming.
Kudos to these humans for calling it out in a very public way. This kind of crap will only ever hurt people. AI is not your “friend”.
