About the Language Lounge category

Discussion of anything language related, whether it is learning a new language, tools to help one do so, or discussions of etymology and multi-lingual interplay.

You never think about your universal translator until it gets slagged by an EMP or gets burned by an enemy netrunner. When that happens, you’re gonna want to make sure you can speak the local language of wherever you are so you can get help or at least find a bathroom. Don’t matter if you’re in Chiba, Berlin, or Voodoo Boys territory, you’d better be able to communicate with the locals so you’ll know what they’re about to do to your jacked-out meatbag.
