If you use Notepad++

Notepad++ recently found itself targeted by some state-sponsored script kiddies who clearly had nothing better to do. They managed to hijack the update system and reroute update traffic in order to serve up unfriendly versions to specific users.

I'm really wondering why they are so convinced these was a state-sponsored attack... and not just a shitty web application in the same hosting account...

Looks like an update was posted on the Notepad++ side, linking to this article https://www.rapid7.com/blog/post/tr-chr ... s-toolkit/. It does speak of a sophisticated attack just as well, though naturally security consultancies would drum up their findings and I'm not deep enough in the scene to tell the relevant bits for that for the amount of text that publication holds.
Welp, I changed to gVIM (Portable Apps) to code my website for the time being. I like the code coloration better, but they're not using bog standard keyboard shortcuts which is like, what?
