I posted this over on CI but figured that I’d post it here for posterity as well. “True Skin” is an independent cyberpunk short film that asks some interesting questions in a very short time frame. Not really breaking any new ground here, but it’s a fun little distillation of some of the core concepts of “high tech, low life”.
And there’s also some interesting parallels with the whole AI “get with the program or get left behind” hype bubble in our current dystopia.
